David Charles Lindley, 67, passed away on May 15, 2017 in Norman, Oklahoma. He was born on July 1, 1949 in Henderson, Kentucky to Charles Boyce and Mildred Lee (Williams) Lindley. David was affectionately known as "Big Dave". He served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam era. He married the love of his life, Rosalie Cheek on September 9, 1988. David was a devoted son, husband, father and grandfather. He was hardworking, a man of integrity that enjoyed carpentry work, smoking his cigars, and watching his favorite OU football team. He also enjoyed listening to country music, playing his guitar, singing, and taking cruises. David was the type of person that even if he wasn't "at work"; he was working on something in his garage. He freely gave of his time to family and neighbors doing all kinds of different projects. He was kind, friendly and never met a stranger. He made friends anywhere he went.

David adored spending time with his children and grandchildren. His greatest love was his family; he always put family first.
He will be greatly missed and always remembered by his wife of 31 years, Rosalie; parents, Mildred Mullen and her husband, James, father, Charles Lindley and his wife, Della; children, Michael Lindley and his wife, Katherine, Michelle Lindley; stepchildren, Clint Vincent and his wife, Kimberly, Jerry Vincent and his wife, Leah, Angel Vincent; nine grandchildren, Chloe, Corban, Aiden, Addyson, Scarlett, Xander, Alida, Keegan, Kenna, and a host of relatives and friends.
